Lukaku moves on!

Finally after what seemed like an eternity Romelu Lukaku signed for Manchester United yesterday afternoon.

The now former Everton No.10 signed a 5 year contract with the Red Devils in a deal worth around £90 million to the club.

It feels like one of the weirdest transfers of recent times as an Evertonian.  He has been our leading all time Premier League goalscorer and what he gave us in the past 4 years is something we should be proud of.  However I’m so pleased we don’t have to put up with the constant circus he comes out with every time he goes off on international duty.

The amount of times the man has disrespected us has been disgraceful.  Telling everyone he will make the decision where he goes!  Ha ha wrong my friend, the worlds biggest Chelsea fan has now signed for…. Manchester United!

When you look at the heart filled messages Rooney received from his former team mates compared to Lukaku, its not comparable.  Only reason Yannick Bolasie posted something via Instagram was because he’s now lost a lift to training!

As someone pointed out yesterday, Everton Football Club finally became a team again.  It isn’t just about one man but now about everyone chipping in with the goals.  Lets be honest we’d prefer 5 players scoring 10 goals each than one man scoring 25 and the rest in single figures!

With the business we have already done I’m not concerned about Rom leaving.  I trust Walshy and Koeman to bring in a proven striker to go with Rooney and Sandro Ramirez

Thanks for the goals Rom, I’ll never forget celebrating those two goals in the cup quarter final against Chelsea.

Come on you Blues
